​Experienced Dallas Energy Leader Matt Valentine

Based in Dallas, Matt Valentine is the co-founder and chairman of the professional soccer team USL Dallas. Established in 2024, the franchise will debut in the USL Championship league ahead of the 2027 season. Over the last decade, Matt Valentine has gained leadership experience in the energy industry, serving as a partner at the midstream energy company Rimrock Energy Partners and as an advisory board member at Orion Energy Partners in New York City.

Matt Valentine expanded his role in the Dallas energy industry by joining Carbon Rho in 2022. He serves as a partner at the carbon removal services provider and on the Buddy Love Clothing Label board. Between 2012 and 2016, Matt Valentines served as the chief financial officer of Rimrock Midstream, where he drove business operations.

Mr. Valentine attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he played on the men’s varsity soccer team. When not managing his various business interests, Mr. Valentine enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, and watching sports. He also stays active through golf and skiing.
